I spent a lot of time figuring this out myself, so I’ll break it down clearly. If you check the official list of american luck legal states, there are three distinct groups. Washington and Michigan are completely excluded. Then, “Gold Coins only” applies to states where local regulations prohibit SC play: Idaho, Montana, Louisiana, Connecticut, New Jersey, California, Nevada, New York, Delaware, Tennessee, and Illinois. So for you in Tennessee, it’s Gold Coin play for entertainment only, whereas your brother in Texas gets full access since Texas isn’t on those restricted lists. The main difference is that without SC, you’re spinning purely for fun without prize redemption features.
